the public leadership minor provides academic grounding for careers in public organizations

Degree Requirements

The Public Leadership Minor requires a total of 21 credits hours — 18 credit hours of coursework plus an internship with a public policy focus, which is graded S/U. Coursework in the minor’s subjects must be completed with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Students must complete a minimum of 6 credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward their major(s) or other minors.

Students pursuing the minor are  also expected to attend events offered by the Bob Graham Center, such as public lectures, lunch-and-learns and workshops.  These events provide an opportunity to interact with opinion leaders and experts on topics of current interest.
