Gulf Scholars Program Coordinator

The Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida is conducting a national search for a faculty member to fill the new position of Gulf Scholars Program Coordinator beginning in spring 2024.

We seek a dynamic colleague with topical expertise as well as demonstrated experience in place-based learning; student advising and mentorship; project management; and logistical support to oversee the Gulf Scholars. The successful candidate will teach in the program and manage its day-to-day operations, including developing a Gulf Studies minor, recruiting and advising students, coordinating various program initiatives, and traveling to Gulf field sites, all underpinned by a commitment to prepare the next generation to address the most pressing challenges facing the Gulf of Mexico and the globe. Knowledge and experience directly related to the Gulf of Mexico is preferred.

The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and the compensation includes a full benefits package.
