The Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida offers the Tallahassee Semester Internship program each spring term to coincide with Florida's legislative session. During the spring semester, the Center offers internships throughout Florida government, including positions with the legislature, governor's office and executive branch agencies, the news media and various associations and lobbying organizations. Through the partnership of its Federal Relations Team and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service, the University of Florida is offering its students exciting opportunities to study and work in the nation's capital. Internships are based in the UF Federal Relations Office, as well as with members of the Florida Congressional Delegation. The program provides outstanding undergraduates with opportunities to work in field placements that reflect their particular areas of academic interest. Students are eligible to receive academic credit and scholarship opportunities are available. The deadline for summer 2020 is March 16.
The City of Gainesville and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida offer an annual City of Gainesville Local Government Fellowship program. Students work part time (10 to 15 hours a week) during the fall and spring semesters of an entire academic year.
