The University of Florida triumphed in this year’s TurboVote voter registration challenge, defeating the Tennessee Volunteers! UF registered 1,851 individuals in TurboVote’s election reminder service, compared to Tennessee’s 1,224, contributing to a combined total of 3,075 new voters or election reminder sign-ups.
Both schools demonstrated outstanding civic spirit, and we should all be proud of this exceptional effort to boost voter engagement. But let’s not forget: the Gators chomped Tennessee in the process! This friendly rivalry shows just how powerful student involvement can be in shaping the future. Thank you to everyone who participated—your voices matter! Go Gators!
