We are a Top 5 University, and now we can say we’ve been named a 2022 ALL IN Most Engaged Campus for College Student Voting.
The University of Florida is one of 394 college students recognized for its efforts to increase nonpartisan democratic engagement in the 2022 election.
Become Part of the UF Civic Engagement Cabinet
Voting is not the end of civic engagement, it’s the start. The Bob Graham Center is reaching out to invite UF campus offices and organizations to become an inaugural partner in the Gator Civic Cabinet.
The Civic Cabinet will be a permanent partnership of civic-minded organizations and campus institutions committed to developing and promoting a culture of civic engagement on our campus year-round, in both election years and off years. Much like the Gators Vote 2022 initiative, the Cabinet will meet regularly to discuss campus-wide civic engagement issues and efforts, share best practices and ideas, and pool resources to ensure every student has an opportunity to make their voice heard in our community, state, nation, and world.
To participate in the inaugural Civic Cabinet, we ask that you submit the names and contact information (including phone number and UFL email address) for 1-2 individuals who will serve as your official Civic Cabinet Representatives.
Representatives can be anyone in your organization–yourself included–who is willing to commit to attend weekly meetings and contribute to Graham Center civic engagement activities. These individuals can be presidents or other executive officers, but they do not have to be; any member with a passion for civic engagement is ideal.
