Are you interested in securing a globally-focused internship for Summer 2024, Fall 2024 or Spring 2025?
Embark on a career defining journey with the Global Interns Fellowship at the Bob Graham Center for Public Service.
The aim of the Global Interns Fellowship is to provide support and financial assistance to International Studies majors by helping them identify, prepare for, and apply to prestigious globally-focused internship opportunities and awarding them scholarships at the end of the fellowship. These opportunities can either be in the US (as long as they have an international theme) or abroad (with any theme).
The application deadline is Jan. 28, 2024.
To be eligible for the Global Interns Fellowship, applicants must:
- be International Studies majors;
- be on track to complete sophomore year by the end of Spring 2024;
- have successfully completed or are currently enrolled in INS3004 – Perspectives in International Studies at the time of application.
The Global Interns Fellowship will meet over five Thursday lunch meetings between 12-1pm on Feb 15, Mar 7, Mar 21, Apr 1, and Apr 18 at the O’Neill Reading Room, Pugh Hall. These meetings will be packed with insightful discussions and activities designed to guide each participant toward securing a globally-focused internship.
Fellows are eligible to receive a $500 scholarship upon completing the program. Completion entails attending a minimum of 4 out of 5 meetings and successfully obtaining an internship position.
