Embark on a career defining journey with the Global Interns Fellowship at the Bob Graham Center for Public Service.
Global Interns Fellowship aims to provide support and financial assistance to students by helping them identify, prepare for, and apply to prestigious globally-focused internship opportunities and awarding them scholarships at the end of the fellowship. These opportunities can either be in the US (as long as they have an international theme) or abroad (with any theme).
The application deadline is Nov. 24, 2024.
Eligibility Requirements
- UF GPA 3.0 or higher
- International Studies majors or students intending to declare an International Studies double/dual major
- Current freshmen, sophomores and juniors only
The Global Interns Fellowship will meet over five Thursday lunch meetings on Jan. 23, Feb. 6, Feb. 20, Mar. 6, and Apr. 3 during Period 6 (12:50-1:40 pm) at the O’Neill Reading Room, Pugh Hall, 2nd floor.
These meetings will be packed with insightful discussions and activities designed to guide each participant toward securing a globally-focused internship.
Fellows are eligible to receive a $500 scholarship upon completing the program. Completion entails attending a minimum of 4 out of 5 meetings and successfully obtaining an internship position.
