Task Force Report: African & Native American History

In the walk of Black Lives Matter movement in 2020, UF President Kent Fuchs created a task force of students, staff and alumni to investigate UF’s relationship with African and Native Americans from 1853 to the present.

The public was invited to hear the report from the presidential task force on Tuesday, Jan. 17. Audience members received free copies of the task force report. A reception followed at the Institute of Black Culture.
