Scudder Lecture Series: Religion and Identity Among Second Generation New Immigrant College Students

In partnership with the UF Department of Religion (opens in new tab), the Bob Graham Center sponsored this lecture by Haroon Moghul, a Pakistani-American academic and commentator on Islam and public affairs, and a faculty member at Shalom Hartman Institute of America.
He is author of How to Be a Muslim: An American Story. The book describes his struggles as a 2nd generation young American coping with crises of culture, faith and life. In 2016 Moghul received the Religion News Association award for excellence in religion commentary.
Moghul is also a contributor at the Center for Global Policy.
