Scudder Lecture Series: Religion and Identity Among Second Generation New Immigrant College Students

In partnership with the UF Department of Religion, the Bob Graham Center sponsored this lecture by Haroon Moghul, a Pakistani-American academic and commentator on Islam and public affairs, and a faculty member at Shalom Hartman Institute of America.
He is author of How to Be a Muslim: An American Story. The book describes his struggles as a 2nd generation young American coping with crises of culture, faith and life. In 2016 Moghul received the Religion News Association award for excellence in religion commentary.
Moghul is also a contributor at the Center for Global Policy.
