Science: Unsilenced
April 16, 2019
UF climate scientist Andrea Dutton, retired Florida Department of Environmental Protection scientist Connie Bersok, and other scientists who’ve witnessed or experienced scientific censorship hosted a panel discussion on scientific suppression and solutions on April 16 at 6 p.m. in the Pugh Hall Ocora.
Using science to ignite conversations around free speech and engaging nontraditional audiences in the hard sciences, health sciences and engineering – the program examined the growing crisis of censorship in scientific and health research and debate at both the federal and state level in Florida.
