Corporate Conscience: Bold Stands from the Patagonia Brand
September 18, 2018
Can bold stands be smart business? At Patagonia, working to defend the environment and fight climate change is not just a marketing strategy for its wilds-loving customers, but part of the company’s core work. Using business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis is written into the company’s mission. On Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. at in the University of Florida’s Pugh Hall, Patagonia’s Chris Gaggia, Global Marketing Manager for Field & Fish, led a special conversation on corporate environmental leadership in a warming world. Sponsored by UF’s Graham Center for Public Service, Poe Center for Ethics, College of Journalism and Communications and the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS).
