Careers in Public Service: Adam Howard

UF students attending will have the chance to learn about Howard’s career path to the State Department and seek his advice on connecting their studies at UF with internships, fellowships, job opportunities, and graduate programs in the field of public service.

Howard received his Ph.D. in history from the University of Florida in 2003. He is also a professor at George Washington University. As Director of the State Department’s Office of the Historian, he is responsible for preparing policy support of historical studies for Department of State principals and other agencies.
