March 24, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Gainesville needs you! Join us to learn about our 2023-24 City of Gainesville Fellowships and how you can apply!
The Bob Graham center hosted a virtual information session on Thursday, March 23 for applicants. Current UF students serving as City of Gainesville fellows were on hand to describe their experience and answer questions.
This year, the Center was pleased to announce fellowship opportunities with the City’s Department of Strategy, Planning and Innovation, the Office of the City Clerk, Gainesville Regional Utilities, Office of Management and Budget and Gainesville Fire Rescue. Under the direction of City staff, students who are selected as fellows will work part time during the fall and spring semesters of an entire academic year. Students will also register for at least one internship credit hour at UF during both the fall and spring semesters. The focus areas for the 2023-2024 fellowships are: Visual Design, Accounting, Community Engagement, UX (User Experience) Service Design, Business Process Specialist, Data Visualization, Community Development, Policy Research, and Marketing and Media.
