Eleven University of Florida undergraduate students have been selected for public service internships through the Spring 2025 CiviGators Internship Program.
Sponsored by the Bob Graham Center for Public Service and UF’s Office of Government and Community Relations, the CiviGators program places students in part-time roles with local government offices and community organizations in the Gainesville area.
Interns work 10 to 15 hours per week while earning academic credit and participating in professional development activities.
The program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in public service and to strengthen partnerships between the university and local agencies. Internship placements include roles in city and county departments, where students support ongoing operations and contribute to strategic initiatives.
Open to undergraduates from all majors with a minimum 3.0 GPA, CiviGators helps prepare students for careers in public service by offering meaningful, project-based work in real-world settings.
