Assembly for Action

UF students perform a day of service during Assembly for Action

Assembly for Action was a student-run community service leadership program funded by the University of Florida Office of the Senior Vice President  and Chief Operating Officer (opens in new tab), and administered through the Graham Center.

The program paired up to 50 “Action Scholars” with local nonprofits to create action plans for community service projects. Each project received a grant of $2,500.

The nonprofits participating in the program also benefited by an increased capacity of ideas and effort that enabled them to better serve their Gainesville constituents.
