Participants will learn skills in accessing and utilizing population health data, gain understanding of pressing issues in public health, and make enduring connections with other community leaders and experts in the fields of health and policy.

The FHPLA is seeking current executives, elected officials, business leaders, policymakers, nonprofit executives, journalists and other community leaders who have limited experience in health policy and a desire to learn about and advance health in their communities. The 2024 session of FHPLA will be focused on North Central Florida, so community leaders in Marion, Sumter, and Lake counties are especially encouraged to apply.
