Jacob Kaplan
Research Assistant
Jacob Kaplan is a sophomore political science and economics major with minors in history, geography, and public service. At the Graham Center, he works with Dorothy Zimmerman to research the Center’s founding and history. He also assists with legacy projects, research initiatives, social media, and civic engagement programs.
Jacob is particularly interested in the intersection of American politics and public policy. Outside of his role with the Graham Center, he serves as a research assistant in the UF History Department, president of the Florida Student Policy Forum, and vice president of Gator Powerlifting. In addition, he conducts election-focused research within the UF Political Science department and is a Bob Graham Center Student Fellow. After graduation, Jacob would like to pursue a master’s degree and a career in public policy.
