Ava Minor
Academic and Research Programs Assistant
Ava Minor is a junior at the University of Florida, majoring in English with minors in Public Service and the Sociology of Social Justice and Policy. At the Center, she collaborates with Dr. Cornacchione and Dr. Karis to support the International Studies and Public Service minor programs, as well as various undergraduate research initiatives.
As a first-generation college student, Ava is deeply committed to issues surrounding social disparities and injustice, with aspirations to pursue a career in law. During her time at UF, she has been actively involved in several campus organizations, including the university’s mock trial team, The LitiGators as their Membership Coordinator, the First-Generation Leadership Program, and the First-Generation Lawyers initiative.
