Sarah Logan is Chief of Staff to the Head of External Affairs at BlackRock. She is responsible for coordinating cross-regional and strategic initiatives on the External Affairs team. This includes managing deliverables across BlackRock's Global Public Policy, Social Impact, Corporate Sustainability, Stakeholder Capitalism, and Academic Engagement functions. Before BlackRock, Sarah was a Senior Advisor at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she led public affairs strategies for the foundation and outreach with federal officials, including the White House, Congress, and federal agencies. She also was Chief of Staff for the Gates Policy Initiative, a 501(c)(4) focused on lobbying efforts related to global health, development, education, and economic mobility. Sarah previously served at the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Senior Advisor in the office of public affairs, coordinating Treasury's private sector engagement and external communications. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in American Studies and has an MBA from Georgetown University. She is originally from Tallahassee, Florida.
