James H. Shimberg, Jr.
James H. “Jim” Shimberg, Jr. is chair of the council and a partner with Shubin Law Group and The Euclid Group. He is also senior advisor to the ownership group and executive team of Strategic Property Partners, the developers behind Water Street Tampa, the largest development project in Tampa's history. Prior to this appointment, he served as Tampa City Attorney. He has served as general counsel for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Tampa Downtown Partnership and is a trustee of the Shimberg Family Foundation, formed by parents James and Amy Shimberg. He is a double Gator honored as Citizen of the Year by Tampa Connection in 2007.
