Key 2024 Voting Dates

  • October 24: Deadline to request mail-in ballot
  • October 21-November 3: General Election Early Voting
  • November 5: General Election Day

Election Day Information

Happy Election Day! Some quick reminders before you head out to the polls:

  1. You MUST vote at your assigned precinct on Election Day! Not sure where to go? Find your Alachua County Election Day Precinct! (opens in new tab)
  2. Don’t forget to bring your photo and signature ID (all acceptable forms listed below).
  3. Polls are open from 7AM – 7PM. You just have to be in line by 7PM, so make sure you wait to make your voice heard.
  4. Who you vote for is a secret! The only way anyone knows who you vote for is if you tell them.
  5. We are hosting an election night watch party from 6-8PM here in the Pugh Hall Ocora with free food and a panel of experts.

Early Voting Times & Locations

Early Voting will take place between October 21 and November 3. The following early voting locations will be open during Early Voting from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. During early voting, voters registered in Alachua County can vote at any of the locations below. However, on Election Day, voters must vote at their assigned polling place.

Be sure to bring your picture and signature ID to the polls with
you. Acceptable forms of identification:

  • Florida Driver’s License
  • Florida ID Card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
  • U.S. Passport
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • Military ID
  • Student ID
  • Retirement Center ID
  • Neighborhood Association ID
  • Public Assistance ID (Social Security or Other Social Services)
  • Veteran’s Health ID Issued by the VA
  • Florida Concealed Weapon License
  • Employee ID issued by any branch, department, agency, or entity of the Federal Government, the state, a county, or a municipality
