Civic Scholars Applications Close

Students will gain an introductory understanding of quantitative and qualitative research approaches while learning about critical issues impacting Florida’s Gulf communities through the broad themes of civic engagement, public service, or public policy.
For Spring 2024, participants should be prepared to enroll in a 2-credit course (IDS 4911: Civic/Gulf Scholars Research) instructed by Graham Center faculty, Professor Marianne Vernetson and Dr. Teresa Cornacchione. The course is offered Tuesdays, periods 8-9.
Interested students should complete the Civic Scholars application form. Spots are reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis, with preference given to students with limited research experience. The class is limited to 25 students.
Notifications of acceptance will begin mid-November.
