James H. "Jim" Pugh, Jr. is the former chief executive officer, owner and chairman of Epoch Properties, Inc. one of America's largest multi-family developers. Epoch has developed over 37,000 housing units in 56 cities from Florida to California. Epoch is recognized annually as one of the "giants" of housing, and is ranked annually within the top 50 multi-family builders in the U.S.

Pugh is a graduate of the University of Florida. He served as an Airborne, Ranger, and Infantry Company Commander in U.S. Army, and a commander of a Special Forces Unit.

He serves as a director at Telepath Networks, Inc. and American Momentum Bank. He is chairman of Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center, past trustee of the Orlando Museum of Art, member of the Board of Directors at Holocaust Memorial Center and member of the Board of Directors at The Lou Frey Institute of Politics and Government. Pugh served as chairman, vice-chairman, and secretary/treasurer of the Orlando-Orange County, Expressway Authority, was chairman of the Investment Advisory Council/Florida State Board of Administration, member of the President's Advisory Committee on the Arts, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, member of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Board, chairman of the Board of Trustees, Atlantic Center for the Arts, member of the Orlando Naval Training Center Reuse Commission, president of Orlando Utilities Commission, board member of Central Florida Fair, president of Orlando Jaycees, board member of Florida Compensation Commission, president of Orange County Chapter/University of Florida Alumni Association.
