the public leadership minor provides academic grounding for careers in public organizations

Public Leadership Minor

The Graham Center’s Public Leadership Minor is an interdisciplinary program for undergraduates interested in acquiring skills to develop as civically responsible citizens and community leaders, as well as for those interested in careers in the public and private sectors.

Through course work and practical experience, students gain the skills and knowledge necessary for effective and ethical public service and leadership. Courses draw on the expertise of faculty and staff in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, as well as other colleges across campus.

The minor is intended to complement a variety of majors, including the natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, journalism and business.
