Albert O'Neill is a founding member of the Trenam Kemker law firm, where he practiced law in the areas of business transactions, employee benefits and compensation and securities. His professional involvement includes serving as the chair of the American Bar Association, Section of Taxation; chair of the The Florida Bar, Tax Section; a member of the Tax Certification Committee; member of the American Bar Retirement Association Board of Directors; and a member of the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council.

O’Neill’s distinctions included being named among the Florida Trend Legal Elite; The Best Lawyers in America; Florida Super Lawyers; fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel; and a life member of the American Law Institute. He received the Gerald T. Hart Outstanding Tax Attorney Award by the Florida Bar.

He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for The Florida Orchestra, University of Florida Foundation, Inc., Gator Booster Inc., and chair of the University of Florida, College of Arts and Sciences, Dean’s Development Council. O’Neill graduated from the University of Florida and went on to earn his law degree from Harvard University.
